Hey Chris, that's really kind of you to say. Although I must say that sometimes (the vampires piece recently comes to mind) that while i'm doing it it doesn't feel so loose
If you're interested to see how I use that brush in Painter here's a link.. [link] Make sure you watch it in HQ though otherwise it looks awful.

The one thing that Painter has over PS for inking, for me, is that you can rotate the page on the fly. PS doesn't have that ability, or at least my version (CS1).
But saying that it is just as possible using the first round brush in the PS brush menu. Just set the hardness to 100% and you're all set to go
